A new event that aims to bring out the good and the bad after night fall, in people like you, Night People. A mix of the best live dance and alternative indie acts around and a celebration of electronic music - from minimal electro and house, through to disco, grime and hip hop.
A host of London promoters - Mish Mash, Leyline and Come Shake The Whole with an ardent passion for good music have joined forces to bring you a hotbed of sound under one roof, in a new venue bursting with untapped potential. This new collaboration will see 3 live bands and special guest DJs provide 229’s main room action whilst the second room will be hosted by specially invited artists and DJs to bring an alternative underground flavour to the evening.
229 is a fantastic new live music venue in the heart of London, directly opposite Great Portland St Tube Station under the International Student House. This venue is a gem, about to be firmly unveiled to an audience of music lovers tired of the East End hoping to embrace something new and exciting
Spacious, affordable bar prices, excellent sound system, 229 will soon have passionate music lovers and clubbers purring at a gaff that'll give you change from a tenner on a round.
